Reading & Feedback
An Objective Eye on Your Work
Working on something of your own can be daunting – whether it is films or screenplays ; novels or stories or poetry and theatre pieces. When we are right in the middle of everything, it can immensely help to have someone from the outside evaluating the work critically. Both objective and immersed to help you understand what is working and giving you ways to improve it.
One session includes an in-depth reading and written feedback of the material, with thoughts on its existing structure as well as changes that can improve things, followed by an hour-long Zoom session to discuss the material in person. Ideation Meeting
Turning Ideas Into Shape
Don’t have anything written but a stellar idea in mind? Creativity is collaborative and gets its most perfect form when discussed — sometimes ideas need to be told out loud to even take shape.
One meeting includes an hour-long discussion centring around your idea, over Zoom or in person. Points discussed include themes and scope, multifaceted development, artistic nuances, creative stances and choices and pragmatic approaches to bring the idea to fruition.

Pitching Session
Ready to Be Pitched
Have everything ready but not sure if it’s polished enough to be pitched? Need help with your presentation, aesthetics or delivery — or the packaging of your product, like synopses and project decks?
One session includes an in-depth reading and written feedback of the material, with thoughts on packaging, clarity, language and aesthetics of presentation, followed by an hour-long Zoom session to discuss the material in person. Follow-up sessions for developing the material can be requested if needed.

FAQs
Questions before you book? Here’s what people usually ask.
Of course you can. But sometimes, howsoever polished and well developed our story might be, we need an objective perspective to see it in its entirety — the good, the things that can be improved upon, and things that can be better used elsewhere. You also get to understand how the story reads to someone from the outside who doesn’t know it beforehand, and whether the things you want to say are being conveyed properly.
AI is also known to cater to confirmation bias and reinforce your own beliefs and biases. And as Strauss Zelnick said — AI and data can only look backwards, creativity looks forward.
One session includes an in-depth reading and written feedback of the material with thoughts on existing structure of the work as well as changes that can be made to improve things, followed by an hour long Zoom session to discuss the material in person.
Since I have experience working across genres, you can book a session for screenplays (feature length & short or ad films), novels, non-fiction books, poetry and ideation for various other forms. I work in both Hindi and English. You don’t need to have a fully developed project — these sessions can also be used for ideas that need to be developed.
Different projects have different attributes which are the variables that help me decide the time needed to get the feedback ready. I like to give the material enough time to understand the world completely and to inoculate new ideas. The time needed for each individual piece will be conveyed to you when you book the session, but it typically ranges from 7–10 days.
I am based in Mumbai and personal meetings are possible depending on my availability. But if after the session you feel that a discussion can be conducive to ideation, we can do that. This will be treated as a different session and not included in the first session.
There will be complete client confidentiality in regard to the work itself and also the suggestions made. I encourage you to only submit SWA registered work, even if it is not a fully developed idea. If I ever want to mention the work done with you in my resume, it will only be done with written permission given by you.
Of course they do!
Each project is different and treated individually. Costing depends on the page count, the amount of research I need to do to immerse myself in the world, the time invested in the project and various other factors. Cost is decided individually for each project.
You can book a session just by providing a logline, page count and, if possible, a short synopsis. This will help me give you an estimate of time and cost of the project.
Of course we can. In that case, we skip straight to the Zoom call.
